Job Title: Senior Client Service Analyst, Media
Location: New York, NY
Reports To: Director, Marketing Solutions
BASIC FUNCTION:
Reporting to a Director of Client Service, this Senior Analyst will take charge of comScore’s relationships with the top media and entertainment companies, preparing analyses, negotiating contracts and developing new products. The Senior Analyst will coordinate and deliver superior client service to these firms including product training, timely/informative responses to client inquiries, and sensitivity to clients’ business objectives/goals. In addition, the Senior Analyst will extract, transform and analyze comScore data in order to deliver strategic consulting services to existing Fortune 500 clients in the Media & Entertainment industry, with an eye toward expanding revenue opportunities. This Senior Analyst position provides growth opportunities for driven, successful individuals.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES:
• Deliver exceptional client service support to leading media and entertainment clients including product training, timely/informative responses to client inquiries, and sensitivity to clients’ business objectives/goals
• Manage and negotiate contract renewals with Fortune 500 firms in a timely manner with minimal oversight, while growing the business and maintaining 90%+ renewal rate
• Upsell additional services and develop new products to meet client requirements
• Become expert in comScore syndicated products and custom market research capabilities, in online video in particular
• Analyze comScore data in order to deliver strategic consulting services to existing clients
• Adaptable person who can deal with rapidly changing requirements of a start-up environment
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or quantitative field
• 2-4 years of work experience. Work experience that is analytical in nature, such as experience with syndicated data, or custom research is important. Experience in online media, market research, or analyzing customer interactions on the web is a must.
• Knowledge of the online video space is highly preferred
• Excellent communication skills, including both written and verbal
• Experience with Advertising Agencies, Advertising Networks, or Publishers is highly preferred
• Proven ability to independently manage and develop ongoing client relationships
• Experience determining customer requirements and coordinating with product development is a plus
• Pro-active, independent thinker with high energy/positive attitude
• Ability to interact effectively with peers in a team-oriented operating structure
